Employers make big annual investments in health, ability to work and common well-being, but the results and impact are followed too seldom. For employers it’s also challenging to involve the right persons, the can be lack of commitment or rehabilitation does not change habits and health in everyday life.
Our coaching has become known as Movendos Health Coaching. We decided to change the name of our coaching service in order to increase distinctiveness in relation to other service providers. The new name Unik Health Coaching refers to individuality, which is the most important building stone of our coaching, together with the value and solution based method.
Individual Movendos Health Coaching has helped to decrease the risks related to work ability among Finnish Railways’ employees
VR (Finnish Railways) and Movendos started their cooperation in Autumn 2017. Until summer 2019, already over 200 employees have participated Movendos Health Coaching, which in VR got a good tailored name “On the rails to health” coaching.
The recipe ingredients for a successful change coaching on individual level are right timing, individual process and a holistic aspect of health, in this order. This statement is based on research results and on a long 20 years’ experience in the workplace wellness field. Common instructions for exercise, nutrition or stress management for all are nice to have, but often these actions don’t reach right people or the commitment and results are poor.
